MEASURE 2 . ECO VILLAGES AND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES: The building of eco-villages and sustainable "enlightened" communities wherever possible, including in the developing work. This measure should be organically tied to the measure on the building of human rights and duties light-house centers in all towns. MEASURE 3. A UNIVERSAL FEDERATION OF ECO-COMMUNITIES. In the same way that a human body has trillion of cells, all inter-connected, in the same way, autonomous vibrant units should eventually be federalized within a universal trans-frontier structure. The issue tho is which one ? A U.N type or a non governmental structure ? But we are far from this state of human affairs and it is up to grass root movements to decide. Moreover, the State system has still much life to it. However, nothing forbids a cordial co existence between State rivalries based on dependencies and intermediaries and eco villages based on autonomy and eco sustainability.
Be that as it may, the fact that there are tens of thousands of developing eco villages and eco communities on our five continents is evidence of the surfacing of a new Holistic and Spiritual Civilization where we will be not only healthy pieces of radiant and inter-connecting consciousness, but also responsible citizens.
In this context, the very finality of the mercantile-scientific, industrial and military systems President Eisenhower denounced so strongly before his departure is to enfeeble the People and keep them away from the ideal of "enlightened self sovereignty". To make them dependant, uncritical, diseased, addicted to devitalized foods, to prescribed drugs, to fear, television and routine. Unjust and arbitrary political systems are not threatened by manipulated and dis-eased and stressed out citizens.
This is why our best defense, our best argument against tyranny is to be healthy and aware. In this perspective, of all of what characterizes Spiritual & Holistic Civilizations, Holistic Health and eco-sustainability are the two common threads which weave human excellence and vital autonomy from coast to coast.
